Success in the Role:
As a Senior Sales Manager, your success will be measured by your ability to:
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with business objectives.

• Effectively position our weather risk management products and services to drive sales.

Responsibilities:
• Provide input to strategic sales plans that align with business objectives.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop comprehensive sales strategies.

• Travel within Africa periodically to meet clients and attend events.
• Utilise CRM tools to record and track sales activities accurately.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of our product portfolio.
• Act as a brand ambassador, representing our organisation at events.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• Additional certifications or professional development courses in sales, business development, or leadership (a plus).

Experience:
• Proven track record in direct B2B solution sales/SaaS, exceeding sales targets.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in strategic sales planning and business development.
• Demonstrated success in managing and leading a sales team.
• Strong network of industry contacts and relationships.
• Involvement in product development or providing input into product roadmaps.
• Experience delivering impactful sales presentations to diverse stakeholders.
• Planning and executing participation in industry trade shows, conferences, and events.
• Familiarity with CRM tools, preferably HubSpot or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
